Just as Japanese cuisine celebrates the harmony of fresh, seasonal ingredients, our wines bring together California's most distinctive vineyards to create perfect balance for every dish.
Once harvested, these grapes are brought to our winery in Berkeley, where we carefully crush, ferment, and bottle them to create wines that reflect both place and craft.
In Japanese cuisine, it's never about one ingredient overpowering another: it's about harmony. The same philosophy guides our winemaking. We source from California's most unique vineyards not to showcase power, but to create wines with the elegance and balance that complement, never overwhelm, the subtle complexity of Japanese flavors.
From delicate sashimi to rich wagyu, Japanese cuisine spans an incredible range. That's why we craft multiple expressions of Pinot Noir and complementary varietals, each bringing its own character while maintaining the harmony essential to Japanese dining.
We chose Berkeley because wine should bring people together, not create barriers. In our urban winery, balance means accessibility: great wine without pretension, authentic experiences without exclusivity. We are proudly located in the Gilman district, a hub of creativity and culture.
